Marine engineering and design of a 392-berth yacht marina with breakwater and quay structures.

Location: Atakum, Samsun – Türkiye

Marine engineering studies and detailed design works were carried out for the Kurupelit Yacht Marina planned in the Atakum district of Samsun Province.

The project involved comprehensive coastal and structural engineering design to establish a modern marina facility with safe berthing conditions and full operational infrastructure for recreational vessels.

Designed Structures:
• 1075-meter-long main breakwater
• 140-meter-long vertical-faced secondary breakwater
• 20-meter-wide sled
• Travel lift double pool
• 4 pile-supported floating jetties
• 1380-meter-long concrete quay

The marina was designed to accommodate a total capacity of 392 yachts, providing protected mooring conditions and supporting the regional development of marine tourism and coastal infrastructure.
