Financed by USAID, this project aimed to establish the master plan and detailed infrastructure design framework for the Aqaba Free Industrial Zone.
The assignment was undertaken in collaboration with Stanley Consultants (USA) and formed a strategic foundation for sustainable industrial development in the region.
Scope of Services:
• Preparation of the comprehensive Master Plan
• Infrastructure planning and engineering design
• Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA)
• Development of a Strategic Environmental Management Plan (SEMP)
• Environmental baseline studies and impact evaluation
• Integration of sustainable development principles into planning and design
The study provided the environmental, institutional and technical framework required for the structured and long-term development of the industrial zone.
